The St. Cloud Rox managed to split a pair of 7 inning games on Wednesday in Rochester, falling 3-2 to the Honkers in game 1 and winning game 2 by the score of 4-3.

The Rox lost 3-1 at home against Rochester Tuesday night to open what is now a 3-game series.

St. Cloud Rox left fielder Jordan Barth makes an appearance on "Hang Up and Listen". With Dave Overlund out this week I talked with Jordan. He is a Cold Spring native and Rocori graduate.

The Rox went out to a 7-1 lead in the 4th inning only to see Duluth come back with 6 runs in the 5th inning and the Huskies broke the 7-all tie with a run in the 8th inning.

The St. Cloud Rox won their 4th game in a row 8-1 at home against the Willmar Stingers Tuesday night. St. Cloud scored 2 runs in the 6th inning and blew the game wide open with 6 runs in the 8th inning.

The Rox pulled out a 6-5 win over the Duluth Huskies and the game came down to the last at bat. Cam Kline pitched a strong game for the Rox pitching seven innings and giving up 7 hits and four runs.  He earned the win.  Joey Stock recorded the final 4 outs to earn the save with 2 strikeouts...

Former Twins' 2nd baseman Steve Lombardozzi joined me on WJON Thursday and will be the special guest of the St. Cloud Rox Saturday night. Lombardozzi will throw out the first pitch, sign autographs and take pictures with fans before the Rox home opener Saturday night against Bismarck.

The St. Cloud Rox earned their first win of the season Wednesday afternoon 5-3 at Rochester. The Rox trailed the Honkers 3-1 going into the 9th inning but St. Cloud scored 4 runs in the 9th to take the lead.

The St. Cloud Rox announced Wednesday the launch of their new charitable foundation called the Rox Project S.A.V.E Foundation.

The St. Cloud Rox are taking applications for the "Share the Glove" youth equipment grant program, which will give $2,500 worth of gear to a local softball team.
