The term "Minnesota Nice" has come up multiple times in the last week or so, and a new resident see's one area where that seems to be true.

Most of us spend a significant time on the roads in St. Cloud. What is your experience? St. Cloud Assistant Police Chief Jeff Oxton joined me on WJON. He says during the shutdown portion of the pandemic they saw a great decrease in traffic and didn't see a larger than normal amount of people driving fast or erratically.

Starting at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, West St. Germain Street between 5th and 6th Avenue North will be closed.

Are St. Cloud drivers the worst in Minnesota? It's a comment that comes up often on social media, and our call-in shows. There's a lasting rumor/story that leaves St. Cloud drivers in a negative light. Decades ago, a truck driver was asked on the Johnny Carson Show where his least favorite place was to drive.

St. Cloud Police are warning you of dangerous and slippery road conditions this (Friday) morning. Drivers should slow down and be very careful when approaching intersections or crossing bridges.

Surface repairs will cause a section of 13th Avenue Southeast in St. Cloud to be closed.

A portion of a south St. Cloud road has reopened after being under construction for most of the summer.

St. Cloud Police are reminding you to expect traffic delays in south St. Cloud on Thursday due to students moving into St. Cloud State University. The primary impact will be from the downtown corridor of 10th Avenue and 8th Avenue South to University Drive.

15th Avenue Southeast in St. Cloud between 12th and 13th Street Southeast is closed to traffic due to a water main break.

Starting on Tuesday, Whitney Drive between 23rd and 24th Avenue North will be closed due to utility work.
