The River Bats lost 6-5 in 10 innings Monday night to Duluth to snap their 8-game winning streak. Duluth scored an unearned run in the 10th inning to go-ahead. Bryan Haar went 2-5 with a 2-run homerun in St. Cloud's 5-run 6th inning. Andy Henkemeyer went 2-5 with 1 RBI for the Bats. Alex Caravella allowed 3 runs (1 earned) in 3 innings to take the loss.

The River Bats defeated Alexandria 6-4 Sunday night to earn their 8th straight win. Mitch Garver hit a 3-run homerun and drove in 4 runs on the night. Andy Henkemeyer went 3-5 with 2 runs scored for the Bats. Michael Fagan threw 3 shutout innings to get the win for St. Cloud and Travis Unthank threw a scoreless 9th inning for the save.

The St. Cloud River Bats won their 7th straight game Saturday night 8-1 at Thunder Bay. Austen Wisroth threw 6 innings with 8 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win. Carlos Lopez and Jeremy Banks each had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the Bats. St. Cloud improves to 9-13 and will play at Alexandria at 7:05 tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.

The Bats were led by Bryan Peters and Bryan Haar with 3 hits apiece and Peters drove in 2 runs for St. Cloud. Connor Eppard and Kyle Stiner each added 2 hits for the Bats. Matt Iannazzo threw 7 innings with 10 hits and 2 earned runs allowed to get the win.

The St. Cloud River Bats won their 5th game in a row Thursday night when they beat Thunder Bay 3-1 on the road. Kyle Stiner and C.J. Gillman were each 2-3 and Stiner had 2 runs scored and 1 RBI while Gillman had 1 RBI. Andy Urban threw 6 shutout innings with 4 hits allowed to get the win and Zach Hirsch threw the last 3 innings with 1 earned run allowed to get the save.

River Bats Rained Out Wednesday; At Thunder Bay Tonight

The St. Cloud River Bats had their doubleheader postponed at home against Rochester Wednesday due to field conditions at Joe Faber Field. The heavy rains on Tuesday and light rain Wednesday caused the field to be unplayable. The Bats and Honkers will make up the lost games July 30 and 31 with back to back days of doubleheaders beginning at 6:05 each night.
