St. Cloud Regional Airport posted good passenger numbers in 2015. A total of 31,113 commercial passengers flew in to, or out of St. Cloud on Allegiant Airlines.
The idea of creating a Regional Airport Authority to run the St. Cloud Regional Airport is still in the very early stages. Benton County Commissioners Chairman Jake Bauerly says one of the first steps he'd like to see is for the the three area counties to pass a resolution asking for a change in federal laws.
