St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson joined me for an appearance on WJON's My Life Series. In the series will get into detail about the lives of many well known Central Minnesotans. Anderson grew up in Detroit as the 6th of 7 children. He described his childhood as challenging and described some dangerous situations to observe.

A few days into Governor Tim Walz's Stay At Home order St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson says we're doing well following the rules. He says based on traffic patterns and just seeing fewer people out and about it looks like folks are sticking close to home.

St. Cloud police chief Blair Anderson says this is a "tough and tense time" right now for police officers. That's in response to the recent police officer shootings in Baton Rouge and Dallas. However, he says the outpouring of support from the community has been tremendous.

Governor Mark Dayton has named St. Cloud police chief to a new task force aimed at protecting kids. Chief Blair Anderson is one of about two dozen people from across the state that will sit on the "Take Force on the Protection Of Children".
