More sixth grade students in the St. Cloud Area School District could be moved to the junior high buildings next year. The school board will consider a plan tonight (Thursday) to transition the sixth graders at Lincoln, Talahi, and Westwood to North and South Junior High.
St. Cloud area school officials are looking for some feedback, as they begin the search for the district's next superintendent. Two Community Input Sessions are scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday). At 10:00 a.m. at the Whitney Senior Center, and at 7:00 p.m. at the Apollo High School Resource Center.
What will become of Clark Field? That's the question facing the St. Cloud Area School Board and district officials. Superintendent Bruce Watkins announced over the weekend that all Tech varsity games have been move to Husky Stadium because of mold and water damage to the 70-year-old facility.
Today's classrooms are a lot more high tech than the old days of blackboards and calculators. Angie Kalthoff is the Technology Integrationist for the St. Cloud Area School District. She says a modern classroom is equipped with Smartboards, which are much more interactive.
