Authorities have released the names of three people killed in a crash yesterday. Police say 19 year-old driver Lam Vu Le was pronounced dead at the scene. 13 year-old Carrie Richter-Ngo and 5 year-old Ethan Thang Ngo were pronounces dead at the hospital.

So, last week we brought you the story of Todd Foster and Scott Miller, two canoeists who decided to paddle the over 120 mile-long Sauk River. Here's part two - when WJON's Abby Faulkner joined them for a day.

A pair of canoers will paddle the 110 mile long Sauk River, starting at Lake Osakis and ending in St. Cloud, where it empties into the Mississippi. The trip will take 8 days, and Scott Miller and Todd Foster will make evening stops in riverside towns to host meet and greets and other activities.

The Stearns County Engineer's Office says Veterans Drive will be closed again Thursday night into Friday morning. Veterans Drive will be closed from 7:00 p.m. Thursday until 7:00 a.m. Friday for sewer and water crossings

Work on the West Metro Corridor project can take place at night after the St. Cloud City Council approved the request this week. The night work won't be a common occurrence, but rather only a handful of times.

The Sauk River is flowing over it's banks, but so far Anton's Restaurant has not been affected. Owner Patti Gaetz says, even though they have water in part of their parking lot, the restaurant is open and is staying dry.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Sauk River in St. Cloud. The flood warning will go into effect on Thursday morning.

The Sauk and Mississippi Rivers in St. Cloud are starting to rise. However, both are still well below flood stage. The National Weather Service's Hydrologic Prediction Service says both rose slightly over the weekend, but both are still about two-feet below action stage.

So far so good on the Sauk and Mississippi Rivers in St. Cloud. The latest measurements by the National Weather Service's Hydrologic Prediction Service indicate that both rivers have remained steady, and have not risen yet this week.

The National Weather Service is predicting a high likelihood of significant flooding across Minnesota this spring. It has emergency management personnel in Stearns and Benton counties working hard to be prepared.
