Residents Escape Without Injury During House Fire in Haven Township

A fire damaged a home in Haven Township on Sunday night. Sauk Rapids fire chief Jason Flemming says the call came in just after 5:30 p.m. at a farm at 4760 45th Avenue Southeast. The family was able to escape from the home and nobody was hurt in the incident.

Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire in Sauk Rapids last (Tuesday)night . Police at the scene told WJON the fire happened around 6:00 p.m. at 24 7th Avenue South. Fire Chief Jason Fleming says the fire was mostly contained to the garage.

A fire damaged a storage unit in Sauk Rapids early this (Monday) morning. Sauk Rapids Fire Chief Tony Hommerding says a Benton County Deputy spotted the fire at the 24-unit storage building just after midnight at 731 Benton County Road 1.
