A plan to build a new high school in Sartell, along with upgrades to each school in the district, will be presented to the school board in the near future. The Sartell district has been studying its facilities with a community task force since March to come up with a solution for growing enrollment in the district.

Sartell Wrestler Recovering from Temporary Paralysis

A Sartell teenager is recovering from a spinal cord injury suffered in a high school wrestling match - an injury that left him temporarily paralyzed. Nathan O'Brien couldn't move after his wrestling opponent used a routine move called the "fireman's carry" during a match last month. O'Brien spent five days in the hospital and began to regain his mobility and strength.
