The leaders of one of Minnesota's largest companies say they are opposing a proposed constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage in the state. In a letter to employees and the public, Ken Charles, vice president of global diversity and inclusion, wrote the company doesn't believe the proposed ban is in the best interests of their employees or the state's economy.

40 United Methodist Clergy Pledge To Marry Gay Couples
The debate over same-sex marriage is dividing members of the clergy within the United Methodist Church. During their annual conference in St. Cloud, about 40 Minnesota United Methodist clergy have signed a statement saying they would marry any couple who came to them, including same-sex couples.
