The Vikings will sit many of their starters including quarterback Christian Ponder. Joe Webb will get the start at quarterback followed by Sage Rosenfels and McLeod Bethel-Thompson. The Vikings will also get a long look at receivers Manny Arceneaux, Devin Aromashodu, Stephen Burton, and Jarius Wright.

Rosenfels didn't play all season due to injury and was backing up Matt Moore with the Dolphins anyway. Rosenfels was claimed off waivers by Minnesota. Donovan McNabb was placed on waivers by Minnesota Thursday and went unclaimed. Rosenfels will be 3rd on the depth chart at quarterback behind Christian Ponder and Joe Webb.
