September 29, 2012 Ryan Doumit drove in all 4 runs in the Twins' 4-2 win over Detroit at Target Field Friday night. Doumit hit a 2-run homerun in the 7th inning and added a 2-run double in the 8th. The Twins managed only 4 hits for the game. Jared Burton earned the win in relief and Glen Perkins threw a scoreless 9th inning for his 16th save. Scott Diamond started the game for the Twins and threw 7 1/3 innings with 1 earned run allowed.
September 6, 2012 The Twins lost 6-2 in Chicago Wednesday to close a 3-game series against the White Sox. Alex Rios hit a pair of homeruns and drove in all 6 runs for the White Sox. Ryan Doumit and Chris Parmelee each had 2 hits and both Matt Carson and Eduardo Escobar had 1 hit and 1 RBI. P.J. Walters allowed 6 earned runs in 5 innings to take the loss and drop to 2-3. Jake Peavy allowed 1 earned run in 6 innings to get the win.
September 5, 2012 The Twins outscored the White Sox 18-9 in Chicago Tuesday night. Minnesota scored 7 runs in the 2nd inning and added 10 runs in the 5th inning. Chris Parmelee hit a 3-run homerun and 4 RBIs, Ryan Doumit was 3-6 with a homerun and 3 RBIs, and Eduardo Escobar had 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs for the Twins. Escobar made his Twins debut after being chosen as a September call-up. The Twins acquire Escobar in the Liriano trade in July.

Minnesota scored 3 runs in the 9th inning when trailing 5-4. Tsuyoshi Niskioka had the go-ahead sacrifice fly in the 9th inning for the Twins. Ryan Doumit went 3-5 with a run scored, Brian Dozier was 2-5 with a run and 1 RBI and Jamey Carroll had 2 hits and a run scored for Minnesota.
August 6, 2012 The Twins lost 6-4 in Boston to the Red Sox Sunday afternoon. Minnesota was going for the sweep in the 4-game series and settles for winning 3 of 4. Nick Blackburn allowed 9 hits and 4 earned runs in 5 innings to take the loss for Minnesota. Franklin Morales allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 6 innings to get the win for Boston. Ryan Doumit hit a 2-run homerun and Josh Willingham hit a solo homerun for the Twins. Ben Revere was 1-3 with 1 RBI to extend his hitting streak to 19 games.
July 23, 2012 The Twins won 7-5 at Kansas City Sunday afternoon. Ryan Doumit was 3-4 with 2 homeruns and 4 RBIs to lead the Twins. He hit homeruns from both sides of the plate. He is the 3rd Twin to do that, Roy Smalley and Chili Davis were the others. Jamey Carroll was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and Denard Span returned to the lineup and was 1-5 with 1 RBI. Span left Saturday's game early with dizziness.
July 18, 2012 The Twins defeated Baltimore 6-4 Tuesday night to win the first 2 games of the 4-game series. Minnesota broke the 4-all tie with 2 runs in the 7th inning. Ben Revere had the go-ahead RBI single in the 7th. Joe Mauer was 3-4 with 1 RBI and Ryan Doumit was 2-5 with 2 RBIs for the Twins.
July 16, 2012 The Twins lost 9-4 Sunday afternoon to Oakland. The A's sweep the Twins in the 3-game series. Brian Duensing threw 2 innings with 7 hits and 6 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 1-6. Ryan Doumit was 2-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Brian Dozier was 2-4 with 1 RBI. Oakland knocked out 4 homeruns and were led by Yoenis Cespedes who went 4-5 with a homerun and 3 RBIs for the A's.
July 4, 2012 The Twins defeated the Tigers 8-6 Tuesday night to win their 5th straight game. The Twins scored 5 runs in the 3rd inning before Detroit tied the game with 3 runs in the 4th. Minnesota broke the tie with a sacrifice fly from Ryan Doumit in the 7th inning. Joe Mauer added a solo homerun in the 9th. Mauer was 3-5 with 3 runs scored, Josh Willingham was 2-3 with a homerun and 3 RBIs and Trevor Plouffe added a 2-run homerun.
