Ron Gardenhire is back in a Minnesota Twins uniform. The team announced today (Monday) they have hired the former manager as a Special Assistant to General Manager Terry Ryan.
Twins Reportedly Fire Gardenhire
According to multiple sources the Twins have reportedly fired Manager Ron Gardenhire after 13 seasons with team. Gardenhire was under contract through the 2015 season. Gardenhire's coaching staff was working in the final year of their contract.

The Twins lost 10-6 at Texas Thursday night to suffer their 3rd straight loss and 8th loss in their last 9 games. Texas scored 6 runs in the 8th inning to break a 4-all tie.
