A member of the ROCORI school board resigned his position during last (Monday) night's meeting. Eric Leither says personal and business conditions have changed for him, and he won't be able to stay on the board. He will remain on the board for the rest of this calendar year.
The Rocori school board is considering installing metal detectors after two weapons incidents in two weeks at the middle school. That option was considered back in 2003 after two students were shot and killed by another student at Rocori High School.
