Red Flag Warning Issued
With extreme fire risk conditions across southern Minnesota Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for several counties including Kandiyohi, Meeker, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright.

High Fire Danger this Week
The breezy conditions, combined with low humidity levels will cause a high fire danger in the west. As a storm system begins to intensify across southern Canada Tuesday, southwest winds will increase in the west and northwest part of the state.
Red Flag Warning Remains in Effect into Tonight
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 9:00 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) for strong winds and low relative humidity for southern and central Minnesota.
High Winds, Low Humidity Increase Fire Danger
A Red Flag warning will be in effect from 10:00 a.m. today (Monday) until 9:00 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) night for much of western Minnesota.
