With extreme fire risk conditions across southern Minnesota Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for several counties including Kandiyohi, Meeker, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright.
The breezy conditions, combined with low humidity levels will cause a high fire danger in the west. As a storm system begins to intensify across southern Canada Tuesday, southwest winds will increase in the west and northwest part of the state.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for our entire listening area. It will be in effect from Noon today (Wednesday) until 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday).
