Several Xcel Energy customers on the west side of the St. Cloud metro area dealt with a without power this (Wednesday) morning. Xcel says they had two outages, that impacted nearly 2,500 customers in the Westwood neighborhood in St. Cloud, as well as parts of Waite Park, Sartell, and St. Joseph.

The St. Cloud Public Library is open this (Wednesday) morning. The opening of the library was delayed by about an hour, due to a power outage.

645 people in Waite Park and St. Cloud are currently out of power according to Xcel Energy.

Schools within the Sauk Rapids-Rice school district are without power thanks to the recent outage.

Xcel Energy says they have fully restored power to all of their customers in the St. Cloud metro area. An estimated 30,000 customers in the St. Cloud area lost power on Friday, due to severe storms.

Parts of downtown St. Cloud are still without power from the storm that hit the area early Friday morning.

Xcel Energy crews are bringing down the number of customers who remain without power.

Electricity was restored in less than two hours after a pole fire in south St. Cloud.
