A small Minnesota organic dairy has prevailed in its legal effort to force a buyout by a utility building high-voltage power lines along the property.

The strong winds have left over 600 East Central Energy customers without power this evening (Monday).

While Xcel Energy continues to fix the latest power outage, Xcel officials asks customers to stay away from downed power lines.

Give yourself extra time if you're driving along I-94 near Clearwater today and tomorrow. Both right-hand lanes are closed just east of Clearwater to install guard structures and a temporary median barrier as part of the CapX2020 power line project.
