Polar Tank Trailer is consolidating their two central Minnesota facilities into one. Company HR Director Reid Nelson says they're closing their smaller Holdingford plant, and moving some of the staff over to the larger Opole facility.
Workers at Polar tank Trailer in Opole have voted to continue to strike. The members of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 623 voted Monday night to continue the strike now in its 13th day.
The Opole trailer manufacturer has hired some replacement workers to keep the plant running while its 360 workers entered day three of a strike. Polar Tank Trailer Marketing Manager Tim Kelly says they have invited their employees back to work but also intend to meet customer commitments
