Plowing Vets

The organization Plowing Vets has been busy all winter clearing the driveways of veterans, police officers and first responders. Our most recent snowstorm over the weekend was challenging for the non-profit with several of the volunteers unavailable to help.

Neighbors helping neighbors, that's the basic premise of the Plowing Vets program. This is the second winter a group of local folks are offering to plow snow from the driveways of veterans and their families. But not just veterans, they also want to help out police officers, first responders, and firefighters.

A local Veteran is giving back to back to those who protect our communities this winter season.
