More Than 4,000 Still Without Power In North Minneapolis

Xcel Energy says more than 4,000 north Minneapolis customers are still without power after Sunday's tornado. By 8 p.m. Wednesday, crews were able to rebuild enough of the company's distribution system to restore service to an additional 1,000 customers.

More Than 5,000 People Still Without Power In North Minneapolis

Xcel Energy says 5,105 north Minneapolis customers are still without power Wednesday morning. Spokesman Tom Hoen says the company expects the "vast majority" of the remaining outages to be repaired Wednesday, but some customers will have to wait until Thursday for power.

Weather Service – North Minneapolis Tornado Was EF1 Or EF2

The National Weather Service has concluded that the deadly tornado that swept north Minneapolis was either a strong EF1 or an EF2. The weather service says it was one tornado that struck the Twin Cities on Sunday.

Clean-up Begins After Tornado Plows Through North Minneapolis [VIDEO]

North Minneapolis residents and businesses are cleaning up after a strong tornado ripped through parts of the north metro Sunday afternoon. Hundreds of homes were damaged and hundreds more people were left homeless. The Associated Press' Jeff Baenen captured some of the clean-up with this video.
