The 15th ranked St. Cloud State men's hockey team downed #6 North Dakota 5-2 Saturday night to earn a split in the weekend series. SCSU fell behind 1-0 but scored 3 straight goals to lead 3-1 in the 2nd period. UND cut the lead to 3-2 but SCSU scored 2 goals in the 3rd period to ice the win.

The Huskies moved up in the USCHO.com Division I poll this week from #18 to #15. North Dakota dropped from #5 to #6. The Huskies are 5-3-0 this season and are coming off a split at #3 Denver this past weekend.

Airlines are rushing to add service to North Dakota to haul in workers drawn by the state's oil boom. Delta Air Lines Inc. said on Monday that it will add two round-trips a day between Minneapolis and Williston, N.D. And United Airlines is set to add three round-trip flights a day between Denver and Williston in November.
