The county was considering their options on how to address record high water levels and balance the homeowners' flooding and erosion problems with the recreational boaters.

The no wake zone will be in effect for the next five days. There's also a 'no wake zone' issued for the Briggs Lake Chain in Palmer Township in Sherburne County
