More than a dozen homeowners, sportsmen and resort owners testified before the Stearns County Board of Commissioners regarding "no wake zones" on the county's lakes. The county was considering their options on how to address record high water levels and balance the homeowners' flooding and erosion problems with the recreational boaters.
Pleasant Lake Added To ‘No Wake Zone’
A Stearns County lake has been added to the 'no wake zone' list. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says Pleasant Lake in Rockville is also under the boating restriction.

Due to high water levels, the Stearns County Sheriff's office has enacted several "no wake zones" on area lakes. The no wake zone will be in effect for the next five days. There's also a 'no wake zone' issued for the Briggs Lake Chain in Palmer Township in Sherburne County
