April 8, 2011 Vancouver blanked the Minnesota Wild 5-0 Thursday night. Niklas Backstrom had 18 saves but allowed 5 goals and Jose Theodore had 5 saves in relief of Backstrom. Roberto Luongo had 29 saves to get the shutout in net for the Canucks. Minnesota outshot Vancouver 29-28. The Wild have 2 games left and will play at Edmonton tonight at 8pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 7:35.

March 23, 2011 The Minnesota Wild lost 3-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday night. James Reimer had 29 saves to get the shutout in net for the Wild. Niklas Backstrom had 14 saves for Minnesota. The Wild are winless in their last 7 games and are 35-31-8 and with 78 points are 7 points back of 8th and final playoff spot in the West.

March 3, 2011 The Minnesota Wild lost 4-1 at the New York Islanders Wednesday night. Niklas Backstrom allowed 3 goals and was pulled from the game early in the 2nd period. He had 16 saves. Jose Theodore replaced him and had 21 saves and 1 goal allowed. John Madden scored the lone Minnesota goal. The Wild are 33-25-6 and with 72 points are in 11th place in the West, 2 points back of the last playoff spot.

Wild Close To Getting Goalies Back
January 18, 2011 The Minnesota Wild are closer to getting top goaltenders Niklas Backstrom and Jose Theodore back from hip injuries. Both were back on the ice at practice Monday and joined the team for their trip to Edmonton. Backstrom has missed 8 games while Theodore has sat out the last 2 games.
