Another chance for snow arrives across parts of central and northern Minnesota Tuesday. It should be warm enough for mainly light rain and drizzle for much of southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin.
Light snow will begin to spread across far southern Minnesota late this afternoon and into the evening. Heavy snow will develop later this evening, and into Friday, with blizzard conditions developing in the far south late tonight.
The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for areas to the south and east of St. Cloud, including Sherburne and Wright Counties. It will be in effect from 9:00 p.m. Monday through noon on Tuesday.
An active weather pattern will bring another round of snow to the area, with the next bout arriving Tuesday. A wintry mix of snow, sleet and light freezing rain will be possible across southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin overnight and Tuesday morning as well.
