It was the hottest June 1st ever on record here in St. Cloud Monday.

Severe Thunderstorms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening. The primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds.

Hot and humid air will settle across the region starting on Monday.

It looks like it will be warm next week as bars and restaurants are allowed to once again offer sit down dining on their patios and sidewalks outside their businesses.

Later Tuesday afternoon and evening, scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across southeast Minnesota and Wisconsin.

We had about .70 of an inch of rain here in St. Cloud over the weekend.

There's a pretty strong signal that the weather pattern will change and bring warmer weather next week, with nearly all of the eastern 2/3rds of the nation being above normal.

Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s again Friday night and Saturday morning.

Rainfall totals by Tuesday night will range from around 3/4 inch across western Minnesota to little or nothing in Wisconsin.
