Thunderstorm Chances Return to the Forecast
Storms will push into western MN from South Dakota this evening, weaken by Saturday morning, then redevelop further east Saturday afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging winds are possible with a few of the storms.
Rain Likely Wednesday, Thursday
Periods of rain and occasional thunder will be found across the area and will linger into Thursday. Rainfall will be moderate to heavy at times, possibly causing localized flooding issues.

A prolonged rain event will begin later today and continue through late Wednesday night. Rainfall will be moderate to heavy at times, possibly causing localized flooding issues.
Rain Showers Return On Sunday
Chances for rain will steadily increase from west to east across the coverage area through the weekend, starting this afternoon in western MN. A few thunderstorms are possible among the showers.
Strong Storms, Heavy Rain Possible on Tuesday
Storms will develop late this afternoon across western MN, spread eastward tonight, and exit to the south Wednesday. Large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are possible, particularly in the enhanced risk area.
More Rounds of Storms Possible
It will be warm and humid today, but dry. Showers and thunderstorms will return to the area for Friday into Saturday. Severe weather and locally heavy rainfall will be possible both days.
