The National Weather Service says the snow moving in to the region on Sunday will be a bit farther north than they originally thought. That means Central Minnesota is now expected to only get between 1 and 3 inches of snow Sunday into Monday morning.
Something rare for us this winter, an active weather pattern. The National Weather Service says snow will gradually come to an end this (Friday) afternoon. Accumulations will be between 1 and 2 inches.
Some of you may have been grumbling about the lack of snow for Christmas. However, the good news is if you have travel plans in the upper midwest this weekend, you should have no problem getting to your destination.
