We got some more much-needed rain yesterday (Sunday). The National Weather Service says we officially had .71" of rain in St. Cloud. However, even with our recent rains, we're still 1.30" below normal for spring rainfall since March 1st.
Rain develops later today and overspreads the area tonight into Sunday before tapering off going into Monday. Much cooler for next week with small chances for rain and snow showers early in the week before drying out the latter half of the week.
Some parts of central Minnesota are in a Winter Weather Advisory from 11:00 a.m. on Sunday through 1:00 a.m. on Monday. A quick-hitting low pressure system with plenty of moisture will spread accumulating snowfall over much of central through southeastern Minnesota into southwestern Wisconsin mainly Sunday afternoon and evening.
