Snow is expected to develop on Tuesday, and continue through Wednesday evening. Periods of heavy snow are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Snowfall amounts range from six to 12 inches, some areas could see more than a foot.

The National Weather Service says the snow moving in to the region on Sunday will be a bit farther north than they originally thought. That means Central Minnesota is now expected to only get between 1 and 3 inches of snow Sunday into Monday morning.
