Another disaster exercise at the Monticello Nuclear Power Plant. Officials with the state of Minnesota, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Homeland Security, Xcel Energy, Wright County and Sherburne County will perform the drill tomorrow.

Authorities To Hold Mock Disaster At Monticello Nuclear Plant

Authorities are conducting a mock disaster at the Monticello Nuclear plant tomorrow (Wednesday). The Minnesota Department of Public Safety will join other state agencies, law enforcement and first responders in the mock drill. It will test the capabilities of the responsible agencies in case of a real disaster.

Mock Disaster To Test Response at St. Benedict Senior Facility

The St. Benedict's Senior Community along with St. Cloud Hospital will hold a mock disaster tomorrow. The drill will test how well the St. Benedict's and hospital staff are prepared to handle a large-scale evacuation of elderly residents.
