The Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin holding bi-weekly informational meetings this week on the Highway 23 Paynesville ByPass project.

Work on the Highway 23 Paynesville Bypass project resumes Monday. It will prompt the closure of Lake Avenue North from Minnie Street to 185th Street in Paynesville for about the next month.

Watch for MnDOT crews on Interstate 94. They'll be crack sealing lanes on the Interstate near Highway 15. You'll encounter single lane closures and reduced speeds.

Don't be alarmed if you are driving along I-94 and you see smoke coming from a grass fire. The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be conducting prescribed burns along I-94 between St. Cloud and Sauk Centre until mid-May.
