There was a deadly crash in Pope county this (Tuesday) morning. The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 28 and 150th Street, south of Villard.
The spring snowstorm is being blamed for more than 700 accidents across Minnesota. The State Patrol said it responded to 296 crashes plus 440 vehicles that either spun out or went off the road from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the woman who rolled her SUV, killing a boy and injuring two other children, may have been drinking. Six-year-old Amonte King died Sunday in the crash on Highway 4 near Fairmont in Martin County.
One person has been killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pope county. The State Patrol says the incident happened at the intersection of Highway 29 and County Road 28, north of Glenwood, at about 7:45 a.m.
