Vikings and Mankato Put Off Decision On Training Camp

The Vikings and Minnesota State University-Mankato officials announced Monday that they are putting off the decision to have training camp in Mankato this season. The two parties are optimistic that a new collective bargaining agreement will be agreed upon by NFL owner and players this week ending the 4-month long lockout.

Three intercollegiate sports appear headed for elimination at Minnesota State, Mankato. MSU President Richard Davenport has decided not to approve a suggested student fee increase that would support four athletic programs slated for elimination.
