Lynx’ Brunson Receives Honor

Lynx' forward Rebekkah Brunson was named the Western Conference Player of the week in the WNBA. She averaged 14.8 points and posted double-doubles in her first 4 games of the season. Brunson has won the award one other time in her career. The Lynx are 3-1 this season and will host Atlanta at 7pm Friday.

Lynx Top Tulsa 75-65

The Minnesota Lynx improved to 2-1 on the season after a 75-65 win at home against Tulsa Tuesday night. Rebbekka Brunson led the Lynx with 17 points and 15 rebounds and Lindsay Whalen added 16 points. Maya Moore was held to 7 points for Minnesota. The Lynx will play at Seattle at 9pm Thursday.

Lynx Beat Los Angeles For First Win

The Minnesota Lynx beat the Los Angeles Sparks 86-69 Sunday night to get their first win and improve to 1-1. Seimone Augustus led the Lynx with 17 pooints, Maya Moore added 16 points and Rebbekka Brunson added 10 points and 15 rebounds for Minnesota.

Lynx Sign 4th Overall Pick, Harris

The Minnesota Lynx signed the 4th overall pick in the WNBA draft, Amber Harris Wednesday. Harris is a 6'5 post player from Xavier. She joins first overall pick Maya Moore and St. Paul native Angel Robinson as rookie signees for the Lynx.

MN Lynx Draft Moore and Harris

The Minnesota Lynx drafted forward Maya Moore with the first overall pick in the WNBA draft Monday afternoon in Bristol, Connecticut. She averaged 22 points a game her senior season at UConn and is expected to be an immediate impact player.
