Minnesota Grown to Present Farmers’ Market Data

Farmers market managers and vendors from across Minnesota gather in Waite Park on Thursday for the Minnesota Farmers' Market Association's Spring Conference. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture says they'll be the first to hear the results of customer research conducted by the department's Minnesota Grown Program.

Minnesota Grown Directory Turning 30 Years Old

The 30th anniversary edition of the Minnesota Grown Directory comes out in April. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture says it began publishing the statewide directory in the early 1980s, long before the "buy local" trend became fashionable.
