Report: Most Central Minnesotans Drive To Work Alone

A lot of us are riding to work alone. That's according to a new study released today (Tuesday) by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. MnDOT says fewer than one-percent of the workers in the 12-county Central Minnesota area take transit to work.

Watch for slowdowns on I-94 in Albertville. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane beginning at 7:00 p.m. tonight (Monday). All lanes are expected to be opened by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.

Highway 23 Paving to Hamper Traffic in St. Cloud

Highway 23 in East St. Cloud to Close Friday

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close a short stretch of Highway 23 in east St. Cloud tomorrow. The replacement of the pedestrian bridge over Highway 23 will close the road between Lincoln Avenue and Wilson Avenue tomorrow through Tuesday morning.

Cell-Phone Users Urged To Turn In Drunken Drivers

he Minnesota State Patrol is urging cell-phone users to report drunken drivers they spot on the road. Minnesota's Department of Transportation maintains a traffic video network of about 500 cameras. The cameras are mostly in the Twin Cities, with a handful watching traffic in Duluth, Rochester and St. Cloud.
