The Minnesota Wild lost 3-2 at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins Monday night. Minnesota trailed 2-1 after 1 period and 3-1 after 2. The Wild managed a 3rd period goal from Zach Parise but it wasn't enough to pull out the win.

The Wild won 3-2 in overtime against Carolina Thursday night. Mikko Koivu scored the game-winning goal just 15 seconds into overtime. Kyle Brodziak and Erik Christensen each scored a goal for Minnesota and Niklas Backstrom had 25 saves for the Wild.

The Minnesota Wild lost 4-0 at home against the Los Angeles Kings Tuesday night. The Kings scored 3 first period goals. Niklas Backstrom had 11 saves for the Wild. Minnesota outshot Los Angeles 26-15. Minnesota is 28-26-9 and will play at Montreal at 6:00 Thursday night, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:35.

The Minnesota Wild are getting healthier as wing Guillaume Latendresse is nearing a return. He's been out with a concussion but is now skating with the team. Mikko Koivu (separated shoulder) is also skating with the team but appears to be further away from returning. Pierre-Marc Bouchard remains out with concussion-like symptoms.

The Minnesota Wild will play the next 4-6 weeks without center and captain Mikko Koivu. He sustained a separted shoulder in Saturday's game at St. Louis. Koivu said when the injury happened that he thought it was worse than in actually is.

The Minnesota Wild lost 5-2 at Chicago Thursday night. Dave Bolland scored 2 goals for the Blackhawks. Devin Setoguchi and Kyle Brodziak each scored a goal for the Wild. Josh Harding had 17 goals but 4 goals allowed and was benched in favor of Matt Hackett. Hackett forced 8 shots with 8 saves.

The Minnesota Wild won 2-1 at San Jose Tuesday night but goaltender Josh Harding left the game in the first period with a neck injury. Harding sustained the injury when Wild defenseman Nick Schultz hit Harding in the face with his glove while trying to protect the net. Rookie Matt Hackett replaced Harding and had 34 saves while allowing no goals.

The Minnesota Wild snapped a 2-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Tampa Bay Monday night. Cal Clutterbuck and Mikko Koivu each scored a goal and added an assist and Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored a goal for the Wild. Niklas Backstrom had 32 saves for Minnesota.

The Minnesota Wild defeated Detroit 2-1 in overtime Tuesday night. Devin Setoguchi scored the game-winning goal for the Wild after Mikko Koivu tied the game at 1 apiece in the 3rd period. Josh Harding had 36 saves for Minnesota. Detroit outshot the Wild 37-27.

The Minnesota Wild lost 4-2 at Columbus Thursday night in their 2nd to last preseason game. Guillaume Latendresse and Mikko Koivu each scored a goal for the Wild and Josh Harding had 22 saves for Minnesota. The Wild outshot Columbus 34-26.
