Stearns County Sheriff's deputies arrested an Alexandria man on drug charges after getting a driving complaint on the man.

Benton County authorities have jailed three men after a traffic stop led to a large drug bust last Friday. Sheriff's officials say a deputy made a traffic stop in the 400 block of Summit Avenue South and detected the smell of marijuana.

Police have arrested a St. Cloud man after a woman called to say the man violated a Harassment Restraining Order. Police interviewed the victim and were able to find the suspect, 30-year-old Darius Fields. He was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail.

A convicted drug felon has been arrested again, this time after authorities discovered a package containing drugs was delivered to his St. Wendel Township home.

A 50-year-old St. Cloud man has been arrested for allegedly having methamphetamine on him. Officers responded to a verbal argument in the 800 block of Washington Memorial Drive just after 9:30 p.m. last (Thursday) night.

The Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force and the Stearns/Benton SERT Team used a search warrant at 43rd Street Southeast in Melrose. The three people arrested were 45-year-old Ross Rittgers and 45-year-old Janell Rittgers of Melrose, and 31-year-old Leslie Umpleby of St. Paul.

Authorities arrested two people from Waite Park after a search warrant uncovered drugs, cash and a stolen gun. Investigators from the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force searched a home at 1103 2nd Street north in Waite Park Friday and arrested the man and woman.

A 31-year-old Sauk Rapids man is jailed after police allegedly found methamphetamine on him. Members of the St. Cloud Metro Gang Strike Force arrested Ramon Vera last Thursday at the Motel 6.

Authorities in Morrison County have arrested a 37-year-old Little Falls Man on alleged drug charges. Earl Simmons was arrested for allegedly having methamphetamine.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Department has arrested five people for allegedly selling methamphetamine. Officers used search warrants to make the arrests in Elk River and Livonia Township.
