Allina Health is notifying thousands of patients that a medical assistant at its Inver Grove Heights clinic viewed their medical records without authorization.

A Minneapolis health system has notified about 1,200 patients that their health records are missing. Fairview Health Services says a box of printed reports on patient health and billing information was lost when the billing office moved to another Fairview building in Minneapolis.
