Authorities have identified the man shot and killed in a confrontation with police and sheriff's deputies last week.

A 37-year-old man is dead after he was shot and killed by police early this (Thursday) morning. Morrison County Sheriff Michel Wetzel says the man disobeyed repeated attempts to drop a gun he was holding and as many as four officers fired at the man.
