Update – Officials Release Name Of Man Who Died During Marathon

Officials at St. Cloud Hospital have identified the man who died while running in the Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon. Deb Paul says it was 35-year-old Paul Melby of Byron. Melby went into cardiac arrest on the course on Saturday.

Man Collapses, Dies During Lake Wobegon Marathon

A 35-year-old man has collapsed and died while taking part in the Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon that started in St. Joseph. St. Cloud Hospital nursing supervisor Mary Loecken says the man collapsed and went into cardiac arrest on the course.

ROCORI Trail Project Remains On Track

Cold Spring City Council members got an update on the proposed ROCORI Trail Wednesday night. The three phase project will connect the communities of Richmond, Cold Spring and Rockville. It will also make a connection to the Glacial lakes Trail to the west with possibly the Lake Wobegon Trail to the east.
