December 22, 2011 The Timberwolves won 85-84 at Milwaukee in preseason play Wednesday night. Kevin Love led the Wolves with 22 points and 16 rebounds and Michael Beasley added 12 points. Beasley made 2 free throws with 9.1 seconds left to help the Wolves to the win. Minnesota shot 41 percent while Milwaukee shot 43 percent.
December 18, 2011 The Timberwolves won their preseason opener at Target Center Saturday night 117-96 over Milwaukee. Kevin Love and Michael Beasley each scored 21 points to lead the Wolves. Rookie Derrick Williams had 14 points including shooting 3 for 4 from 3-point range. Free agent signee J.J. Barea added 14 points for Minnesota and rookie Ricky Rubio added 6 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds.
December 2, 2011 Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations David Kahn says one of the goals of his is to sign forward Kevin Love to a contract extension and he sees Love being with this team for a long time. Kahn also said he expects little movement with the roster when free agency begins December 9.
April 21, 2011 The Timberwolves have called a press conference at 2pm today to announce that forward Kevin Love is this year's "Most Improved Player" in the NBA. Love averaged 20.2 points and 15.2 rebounds a game this past season for the Wolves. The 6'10 260 pound power forward was also chosen as a NBA All Star this season.

March 14, 2011 The Timberwolves lost at Golden State 100-77 Sunday night and Kevin Love's streak of consecutive double-doubles end at 53. Love was held to 6 points and 12 rebounds. Michael Beasley and Martell Webster each scored 16 points for the Wolves. Stephen Curry led Golden State with 24 points.
March 12, 2011 The Timberwolves posted their 2nd straight rout Friday night when they beat Utah 122-101. Kevin Love led the Wolves with 24 points and 10 rebounds and Michael Beasley added 23 points. Love has 53 straight double-doubles. The Wolves shot 55 percent from the field. Minnesota is 17-50 overall this season and will play at Golden State at 8pm Sunday, pregame on WJON at 7:30.
