Heysse is a 6'6 forward who was a solid rebounder, shot blocker and 3-point shooter at Tech. He was a all conference performer in the Central Lakes Conference for 2 seasons and started for Tech for the past 3 years. Tech was 15-12 in 2011-2012.

(Tech claims a share of the Central Lakes Conference Title with Rocori and Brainerd. Kevin Heysse had 4 catches for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns for Tech. Jacob Peterson ran for 108 yards and a touchdown and on a halfback option pass threw a 23-yard touchdown to quarterback Jesse Lavoi. Tech is 6-2 while Apollo is 0-8)
