St. John's football is still winless in the MIAC after falling 38-35 on Homecoming to St. Olaf Saturday afternoon. St. Olaf scored the final 10 points including the game winning field goal with :06 left.
St. Thomas scored 29 straight points from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd quarter to put the game out of reach and beat rival St. John's 43-21. Connor Bruns threw for 316 yards and 2 touchdowns with 4 interceptions for the Johnnies. St. John's managed just 24 yards rushing in the game. Josh Bungum had 9 catches for 105 yards and Taylor Freetly had 7 catches for 89 yards and a touchdown for St. John's.
