A 35-year-old St. cloud man has been sentenced to 25 years in a federal prison after a string of shootings in St. Cloud last year. Jesse Lamond Jones was convicted of being a felon in possession of a handgun in July.

A former St. Cloud man has been convicted of being a felon in possession of a handgun in U.S. District Court. A federal jury has found 35-year-old Jesse Lamond Jones guilty on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was indicted last December after he was arrested in connection with a series of four shootings in St. Cloud.

A federal grand jury has indicted a St. Cloud man on weapons charges. Jesse Lamond Jones is believed to be the shooter in two drive-by shooting incidents in St. Cloud last spring.
