Clark To Run Against Cravaack In 8th District

Great Lakes Ship To Be Named After Oberstar

Former U.S. Rep. James Oberstar is getting a rare honor - a Great Lakes ship named after him. Interlake Steamship Co. is renaming a ship the Hon. James L. Oberstar after the Minnesota Democrat.

Oberstar Says Another Run Unlikely

Former Minnesota Congressman Jim Oberstar says another run for the 8th district isn't in his future. The veteran Democratic congressman was defeated by Republican Chip Cravaack in November. Speculation about another run surfaced recently after a labor luncheon in Duluth.

Humphrey School To Honor Oberstar’s Career
