St. Cloud State President Dr. Earl Potter and associate dean of the College of Science and Engineering Adel Ali joined me on WJON today. Dr. Potter talked about the beginning on the school year and Ali discussed the uses of the new ISELF building at SCSU.

St. Cloud State University's ISELF building is still under construction, but they're already getting their first piece of equipment for the facility. St. Cloud State will receive $120,000 in state funds to help buy an X-ray diffractometer valued at more than $365,000.

St. Cloud State University will soon be at the forefront of science and engineering research. The $45 million Integrated Science and Engineering Laboratory Facility is under construction now and is expected to be ready for classes in the fall of 2013.
