SCSU Women's Hockey Team Finally Returning Home

The St. Cloud State women's hockey team is finally returning home after getting stranded on the East Coast because of superstorm Sandy. The Huskies played a pair of games at Providence College in Rhode Island last weekend, and then got stuck there as they waited for the storm to pass.

Xcel Crews to Help Restore Power in Sandy Area

Xcel Energy Inc. is sending crews from Minnesota and other parts of its service area to the East Coast to help restore power in the wake of superstorm Sandy. Thirty Minnesota lineman and six managers, safety consultants and fleet mechanics volunteered to deploy with equipment and trucks from the Twin Cities early Wednesday.
