Man On Methadone During Hit-And-Run Crash

A St. Cloud man is jailed after a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning. Police say 24-year-old Jonathan Ortizdones ran a red light at 25th Avenue North and 8th Street North. Officers later discovered he was under the influence of methadone.

St. Cloud Police are on the look-out for the driver of a car who struck a pedestrian early Saturday morning then fled when campus security arrived. It happened in the 600 block of 13th Street South at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday.

Mankato police are looking for the driver who hit and rolled over a woman, then took off. Nancy Benshoof was crossing an access road in the Immanuel St. Joseph's-Mayo Health System parking lot about 7 a.m. Friday. She says the car hit her, then "stopped right on top" of her.
